How to Integrate Smokeball with Realaml & Run KYC/CDD Verifications

Easily connect Smokeball with Realaml to streamline your verification process. Follow this step-by-step guides to manage verifications with ease.

Step 1: Create a Realaml Account (For New Users)

If you’re new to Realaml, follow these steps to create an account before connecting Clio:

• Go to Realaml Sign-Up Page.

• Enter your email and trading name.

• Verify your email and log in to your new account.

✅ Your Realaml account is now set up!

Step 2: Connect Smokeball to Realaml

• Go to the Realaml Integrations tab.

• Click Connect next to Smokeball.

• Enter your Smokeball login credentials to complete the connection.

✅ You’re now connected!

Step 3: Running a Verification

• Go to the Run Checks tab.

• Select your preferred verification type.

• Use the Smokeball field to search for a Matter Number or Matter Description.

• Select the matter—Matter Contacts will automatically import.

• Review the prefilled contact details, adding any missing information (e.g., Date of Birth).

• Check the Consent box and click Run Check.

Step 4: Verifying Additional Clients

To verify additional clients, repeat the above process.

Step 5: Accessing Verification Reports in Smokeball

Once verifications are complete, access your reports in Smokeball:

• Open Smokeball and select the relevant Matter.

• Click on All Files—you’ll see the Realaml verification PDFs stored here.

• Go to Time & Disbursements > Disbursements to view the verification costs.
